Matthew is a Midwest based artist and designer known for lighting, furniture, and functional art. After completing his education in drafting and design, Matthew entered the business world where he has worked in the automotive and engineering industries.  With this set of skills, he has been sought by renowned artists for his design and engineering services. After more than twelve years of professional experience in engineering and design, Matthew decided to pursue the arts with his own designs and pieces. 

 

The desire to design and create pieces came from a place of both necessity and passion. With this in mind, Matthew’s philosophy is that art should be accessible and sustainable, and it should spark joy with both its creation and function. He finds beauty in the finished product as well as in the entire creative process. As he continues on his design path, Matthew seeks to keep art obtainable, functional, and personal.
